The Community (CĐ) is a non-profit organization composed of Vietnamese individuals and their families residing in Central Florida, USA, united under the Nationalist and non-Communist ideal, based on the principles of freedom and democracy, without discrimination based on gender or religion.

The Community operates independently from all political parties, religious institutions, or any other social organizations.

The National Flag (yellow background with three red stripes) and the National Anthem “Call to the Citizens” (Tiếng Gọi Công Dân) are the symbols of the Community.

Principles

1. The Vietnamese American Community of Central Florida upholds the ideals of Nationalism, Freedom, and Democracy, as well as Vietnamese culture as the foundation for all activities, aiming to preserve, develop, and promote the common good and welfare of all non-Communist Vietnamese living in Central Florida.
2. Operates within the framework of local and federal laws of the United States.
3. Respects the rights of individuals, families, and groups within the Community, promoting unity, mutual support, and solidarity.
4. Does not support in any form organizations, groups, or individuals who have collaborated or are collaborating directly or indirectly with the Communist regime, have emerged from the Communist regime, or represent Communist front organizations in disguise.

Objectives

The Vietnamese American Community of Central Florida (CĐNVQG TTFL) was established with the following objectives:

1. To preserve and promote Vietnamese culture and history, while fostering a spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance among compatriots.
2. To encourage and promote progressiveness and a love of learning in all fields in order to serve the Community, and to nurture and train the younger generation to take on leadership roles and responsibilities within the Community and for the United States — both now and in future generations.
3. To facilitate integration into local society in order to protect social and legal rights based on U.S. law, in areas such as politics, economics, and culture — while maintaining the distinct identity of Vietnamese culture.
4. To connect and cooperate with Associations and Organizations, both within and outside the Community, to advance the interests of the Community.
5. To bring the voice of Vietnamese Americans in Central Florida to the local population and other communities, as well as to assist and defend fellow compatriots facing difficulties in life or emotional hardship.
